15 Years of VLE Experience

Overt Software and our team of eLearning professionals have been actively engaged in Moodle VLE since 2005. 


As early adopters of VLE technology back from our days managing eLearning delivery in a local FE college there's not a lot we don't know about Moodle and how best to delivery eLearning using the platform.

Our popular "VLE Technical Administrative Training" will help train any avid VLE administrators to get the most out of their VLE's. Topics cover day to day management of a Moodle VLE  / creating course category structures / enrolling users into courses / running reports via Moodle and much more.

Empower your staff to setup and manage their own Moodle courses with our "Teacher VLE Training". A Moodle crash course designed to get your staff up to speed with managing their own Moodle courses. A one day long course to cover all the basics a tutor will need to conduct eLearning via their own courses.  

Onsite or Remote Training

We like to be flexible with our training courses and therefore have the ability to run them on-site at your institution for face to face learning. Or remotely utilising our BigBlueButton web conferencing to deliver remote training for your users. 


For onsite training all we require from you is a training room we can setup in, a whiteboard/projector and laptops/computers that your users will use in the 'hands on' practical elements of the course. We typically find running these training sessions in the computer lab at your institution is the best setting to conduct this sort of training.


However with remote working now proving to be very popular, we can also deliver training courses via BigBlueButton, our course lecturers have the ability to deliver the course training content via the presentation mechanism, take Q&A's from users through the online chat and webcam/microphone functionalites of the platform. To engage learners we also run quizzes and polls to assess learning progress as well as setting practical tasks to be completed by users to reinforce their learning.
