Important Update: Upgrade to Shibboleth V5
The Shibboleth Identity Provider (IdP) version 4 and earlier versions are approaching their end-of-life dates. Specifically, Shibboleth IdP v3 reached its end-of-life on 31st December 2020, and v4 will reach end-of-life on 1st September 2024. After these dates, the Shibboleth Consortium will no longer provide security patches or releases for these versions.
Organisations still using these outdated versions are strongly urged to upgrade to the latest stable release, v5.0.0, to ensure ongoing security and support.
